As society moves more into a digital, almost paperless age (avid readers at bookstores despise this, and I’m sort of with them,) a graphic artist must adapt to keep the pace. If your website needs a little pepping up or just some graphics changed out of it, that’s something folks like me do.
I also can design a site from scratch for a client, set them up on their own (or my) hosting, educate them on how to acquire the necessary stuff to own and keep their website going… and keep it at a minimal price. I’m as cheap as you guys are…. and unlike “professional” web designers, I don’t go snowboarding in the Alps every time a site is done. I just enjoy my ramen noodles and get on to the next job, as my forefathers intended!
Here are a few of the sites I’ve made over the last couple of years that are still around (Businesses are like that, they come and go over a 20 year span… website building isn’t my prime gig, but off and on folks have requested it of me, and I never tell a client “no.”). I built a great many sites in the last two decades but while a few are still up and running… I’m not putting them on here. Styles have changed, and they haven’t called me yet for a revamp. 🙂
I've worked with these folks since around 2012 or so. Their owner I met while working on the Best of Tidewater Magazine, where he was impressed at my response speed when making changes for the company he was representing at the time. He started his own agency and asked for my help. Of course I agreed. His staff and myself created a plethora of newspaper, magazine, online and direct mail ads for Beltone affiliates across the country for many years, as well as numerous other businesses that came and went along the way. They're not as busy currently as they once were, but whenever their boss gives me a call to adjust some stuff, or make a website, I'm there for him. If you're in Virginia, and you need an advertising guru, look them up.
