Here are some samples of the various styles of print media I’ve designed over the years.  It’s impossible to put them all up on one page, so I’ve just gathered some of the more recent ones along with a couple of the ones that I remember from days past.  It’s a journey.  Check out my Facebook page feed (link up top) to see more current projects as I post them.

Magazines & Catalogs

I’ve designed at least 1,500 or more varied editions of coupon magazines & catalogs since I began my career, mailing in Florida, New York, Texas, Virginia, California, Nevada and many other states.  Here are 7 from varying areas, times and styles. All artwork within the magazines (other than the occasional ad supplied by an agency or the customer themselves) was done by yours truly.   This used to be my bread and butter, but lately there have been fewer publishers out there doing this, so I’ve been concentrating on creating websites and the like.  How BORING.

If you are or know of some ambitious publisher who wants to create their own direct mail magazine and needs someone to do the artwork, set it up for press and get it sent to print… well, I’m your Huckleberry.  That’s JUST my game. 🙂

(Note:  The BONITA SPRINGS magazine with the Star Wars cover never went to print… but it was a really cool idea.  A magazine that supported Veterans by giving them good print rates, something to do after the service AND by donating some of the profits to the Wounded Warrior Project.  The individual who had me design the concept and set it up apparently took the money and ran before getting it printed (and of course, without paying myself and the other artist who helped me with it), but the concept was very good… so it’s worth showcasing, if nothing more than that it was a noble idea executed by an apparently ignoble creature.)

Newspaper & Magazine Ads

A small selection of the various styles of businesses I’ve built ads for.  I’ve tried to include the more popular categories, but there really are so many to choose from.  Hopefully this group is sufficient:

If it can be printed, I’ve most likely designed it at some point or other. In the interest of space and blowing your eyes out, I’ve left those off this page as it was killing the internet.  Examples available on request.  I’ve also left off all of the billboards, vehicle stickers, promotional items, quad-folds, envelopes, collateral, multi-page menus, forms and other such endeavors I’ve run into over the last 2 decades.

Menus, Flyers, Trifolds, Etc.

If you’ve made it this far down, you most likely now have a fairly good idea of what my design range is when it comes to print advertising.  These are just the print ones… I’ve got another page for digital stuff.

Kudos for reading!
